Regional Mufti’s office – Sliven held a regular meeting with its imams

On April 15 (Monday) this year Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven held a regular monthly meeting with the imams from the region. Official guests from Grand Mufti’s Office during the working meeting were the Head of “Irshad” Department Halil Hodzhov and the Head of the Department on Education Amir Feleti.

The meeting was opened with recitation of a part of the Holy Qur’an by the imam of the village of Ticha (Municipality of Kotel) Nazif Mehmedaliev, after which the participants were informed about the agenda of the working meeting.

Focus of the discussions was the organization and the activities of the imams from the region of Sliven during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, as well as the participation of Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven in the national annual campaign organized during that period – to support the Islamic education.

The meeting was closed with a dua (supplication) made by the guest-imam from the Republic of Turkey Selyami Ilhan.
