Regional Mufti’s Office – Targovishte together with the Muslim boards of trustees of the villages of Dalgach, Treskavets, Stanets, G. Novkovo, Aleksandrovo and Ch. Voda organized a prayer for rain and prosperity in the relevant settlements. Traditionally,dozens of animals (qurban) were slaughtered in all villages as a sign of sacrificial offering for rain and prosperity. The events were attended by the representative and a head of the religious events on behalf of Regional Mufti’s Office – Targovishte Mr. Nutfi Daya, an expert at “Irshad” Department. The programs included recitation of parts of the Holy Qur’an as well as lectures on various Islamic topics. There was a great presence on behalf of the Muslims who together raised hands to the Almighty and said “Ameen” to the supplications. Regional Mufti’s Office – Targovishte continues jointly to organize with the Muslim boards of trustees in the region such events, which are an established long tradition in the area.
