The pilgrims from the group of Grand Mufti’s Office performed their Hajj and are already in the city of Medina

After the seamless implementation of the pilgrimage of Hajj and all related to it rites, the group of the Hajj pilgrims of Grand Mufti’s Office left the holy city of Makkah and already a third day is in the city of the Prophet (pbuh) – Medina.  The Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Behan Mehmed reported this for Grandmufti.bg. He is one of the ten in total leaders of the Hajj pilgrims from Bulgaria during Hajj 2019, performed with the organization and under the auspices of Grand Mufti’s Office.

After spending 22 days in total in Makkah, the group will stay in the “Illuminated City” of Medina for 8 days, starting from August 19, 2019. According to the leaders from Grand Mufti’s Office the program there foresees performing the 5-time prayer at the mosque of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), as well as visiting the grave of our beloved Messenger. During the time out of the implementation of the various acts of worship the pilgrims will have the opportunity to visit a number of important historical places and sites, located in the territory of Medina or near it.

“We have planned on Wednesday along with the visit to the Quba Mosque, Uhud and the Masjid al-Qiblatayn, to visit also other historical sites in Medina. The Hajj pilgrims will visit the Dates Garden where we are going to hold a religious program.’ – also shared Beyhan Mehmed form the organizational team.

During their visit today to the Quba Mosque the pilgrims from Bulgaria will have the opportunity to perform their third Umrah within Hajj 2019, having in mind the words of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), who said that “Two rakat of prayer, performed in the mosque of Quba equal to performing one Umrah”.

“Like when we were staying in Mekkah, during our stay in Medina there also is organized religious and cultural program every evening, including reading the Qur’an, lectures in Turkish and Bulgarian language, performances of religious songs (ilyahi). The Hajj pilgrims remain very pleased with these programs.” – further said for Grandmufti.bg from medina the leader Beyhan Mehmed – regional Mufti of Kardzhali.

The group from Bulgaria will stay in the holy city of Medina till August 27 (Tuesday).
