Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali held a meeting with the imams from the region

 

 

A monthly meeting with the imams from the region of Kardzhali took place on October 10 this year in the central mosque of the town of Kardzhali. The meeting began at 11:00 o’clock and was opened by the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed. There were also his deputies Erhan Redzheb and Nasuf Halil as well as the guest-imams from the Republic of Turkey Şemsettin Baş and Metin Ulocak.The Regional Mufti informed the participants about the agenda of the meeting. The first topic in it included the upcoming “Week of Imams and Mosques”. There were defined events which will take place during that week. In connection with this there was also mentioned about the competition for delivering sermon (khutbah) which be held in the town of Haskovo during the days of October 22 and 23, 2019. The participants specially discussed the topic about the summer Qur’an courses, the results of them and the possibility these courses to become year-round Qur’an courses. In terms of increasing the knowledge and the expertise of the imams the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed informed the participants about the training for “Tashih-hul Huruf” which will be held in the village of Ustina. The host urged the imams to pay a greater attention to the winter religious talks during the upcoming months.

In the agenda of the working meeting were also included proposals for nomination for the “Hodzhazade Mehmed Muhiydin Effendi” prize, which the SMC annually awards. There was also addressed the topic for the upcoming subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine.

The Regional Mufti invited all imams and residents of their settlements to attend the special official program which will take place in the Religious School – Momchilgrad on October 12 (Saturday) with the participation of the famous Islamic theologian Mustafa Karataş.

The meeting ended with dua (supplication) for peace and welfare, made by the Deputy Regional Mufti Erhan Redzheb.
