Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse held a regular working meeting with imams and chairmen of Muslim boards of trustees on June 4 (Thursday) 2020.

The working meeting, which was opened with recitation of verses from Qur’an-i Kerim, took place in the mosque “Mirza Seid pasha” in the city of Ruse. Official guest of the meeting was the Director of the Religious School – Ruse Tundzhai Sherif.

As a host of the working meeting the Regional Mufti Yudzhel Hyusnyu welcomed the participants and then informed them about the agenda. Among the priority discussed topics was the recruitment of candidate-students for the new school year 2020/2021 in the religious school in Ruse.

“Our best years from our childhood passed in the yard of the Religious School “Mirza Seid pasha”. This educational institution produced graduates in many public fields of development. For this purpose, we turn to you – let us hand by hand support the management of the school for recruiting students for the school year 2020/2021.” – called upon all participants in the meeting the Director of the religious school in Ruse Tundzhai Sherif. He made some explanations related to the educational process in the school, focusing on the privileges which the educational institution provides, and on the fact that the staff is at the disposal of its students 24/7.

The participants analyzed the activities during the last month of Ramadan, most of which passed in strict epidemic conditions. These also included performing tarawih prayer during the last ten days of the month, reading of mukabele, observing the fast in Ramadan, and performing the festive Eid prayer.

The imams in the settlements in the scope of Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse presented their reports on their activities, and there was also discussed the implementation of this year’s campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office in support of the Islamic education. In connection with this the participants in the working meeting analyzed the pros and cons of the campaign this year. They agreed that despite the epidemic situation, during which was held this year’s campaign, it was no less successful than the one in the previous year.

In the closing part of the meeting the Regional Mufti of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu expressed his gratitude to the imams and the Muslim boards of trustees for their responsiveness. The guest-imam from the Republic of Turkey Yurdu Yaldaram made a dua (supplication) for health and prosperity with which the working meeting was officially closed.
