Four years after the failed attempt for military coup in the Republic of Turkey, Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo honored the memory of the deceased during the tragic event. With commemorative religious programs on Friday, July 17 this year, in the two mosques in the town the Haskovo’s residents prayed for the souls of the victims.

The program, which took place before the Friday Jumu’ah prayer, in the two religious temples, included reading of Qur’an-i Kerim, mawlid, as well as dua (supplication). An official guest at the event on July 15 – The Democracy and National Unity Day, in “Charshi” mosque was the commercial affairs attaché at the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Plovdiv Mehmed Ali Erdem.
