The first working meeting for year 2015 with the imams from Regional Mufti’s Office – Pazardzhik took place

The first working meeting of the imams from Pazardzhik region for the new 2015 year took place on 25th of January, 2015 at 10:30 o’clock in the mosque of the town of Velingrad. The working meeting was also attended by Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi – Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The meeting began with recitation of the Qur’an-i Kerim by the imam of the village of Yundola – Yumer Kergin. After thanking for the wonderful recitation the Regional Mufti Abdullah Salih informed the participants about the issues discussed during the three-day workshop for the employees of the Grand Mufti’s Office and the regional mufti’s offices which took place in the city of Shumen, as well as during the session of the SMC.

After the extensive analysis of the already discussed during the workshop issues, the meeting in Velingrad continued with a discussion related to some topics regarding the everyday work of the imams. The results of the social campaign “Orphans week” which took place also were commented.

The Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi said in his speech that the figure in the protocol for the collected money can be considered as an evaluation of the work of the imam. “It is a pity for those”, he said, “who submitted protocols with a collected amount “0 leva”.

At the first working meeting of the imams from Regional Mufti’s Office – Pazardzhik for year 2015 it was decided that during the next meeting the book which was given to all imams on behalf of the Regional mufti’s office “How to get up for the morning prayer” will be commented. During the next working meeting each of the imams will also have to make a presentation of any other book which he recently has read. The idea of the Regional Mufti’s Office – Pazardzhik is to motivate its employees to read more books.

At the end of the meeting the Regional Mufti of Pazardzhik thanked all imams for the diligence and the efforts which they put in their work during the past year.
