The management of RS “Nyuvvab” – Shumen held a competition in Hitabet for students

The management of Religious School “Nyuvvab” in the city of Shumen held a competition in Hitabet (artistic reading of a Muslim religious sermon) for students, which took place in January 30 (Thursday) this year after the afternoon prayer in the emblematic “Tombul” mosque in Shumen.

In the competition participated students from 9 to 12 grade from the religious school in Shumen. It was very exciting not only for the participant but also for all attendees.

The participants in the Hitabet competition were assessed by a three-member jury, chaired by Metin Yeşildağ – a guest-teacher from the Republic of Turkey in the Training course for imams “Mustafa Chatlak” in Shumen, and with members Dr. Osman Ibrahimov and Mehmet Hasan – teachers in Religious School “Nyuvvab”. They unanimously selected the winner in the Hitabet competition - the student from 11^a grade Myumin Yashar Ahmed, at second place was ranked the student from 12 grade Musab Vedat Sabri, and the third place was for 12 grade – the student Ilker Reyhan Hyusein.

All participants in the competition received awards on behalf of Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen, which were officially presented to them by Orhan Basri – expert from “Irshad” Department at the mufti’s office in Shumen. The three finalists in the Hitabet competition for students received special awards on behalf of the school administration of Religious School “Nyuvvab”.

The event was officially closed with best wishes on behalf of the organizers to the participants to continue to participate in such wonderful initiatives and in the future as well, and always to be devoted to the service of Islam and the Muslim community.
